WALK THE TALK DEFINED

Walk the Talk is dedicated to tracking and mobilizing the employee voice as a learning vehicle for employers and a third party destination where employees can share their views.

Walk the Talk hosts the annual Walk the Talk employee survey which awards Top Employers, voted by their employees, for excellence in people practices and career innovation.

The survey and best practices report was launched in 2005 in response to a power shift in the employment landscape that is now taking effect in a much more visible way. The employee voice is strong and employers are taking notice.

The annual survey asks employees whether they feel their employer is walking the talk when it comes to employee engagement, development and support, fairness and equitable people policies and authentic leadership. Naturally, this employee survey is different from other Top Employer surveys. In 2008 we will be awarding employers as most supportive, most open and most inclusive.
